Article ID 00043441
Author Julio Rodriguez
Date JULY 27 2022
Phil Ivey is just eight players away from his eighth career bracelet. Ivey made the final table of event no. 37, ($3,000 H.O.R.S.E.) just after 9 p.m. on Monday evening. Other notables at the final table include 2009 WSOP Player of the Year winner Jeffrey Lisandro and fellow bracelet winners Bill Chen, Ken Aldridge, Ryan Hughes and John Juanda as well as other well-known professionals Chad Brown and David Baker. All of the players are guaranteed at least $22,849 for making it this far, but the winner will take home $329,840 for outlasting the field of 478. If that winner is Ivey, then he will undoubtedly win much more thanks to his various bracelet bets. Ivey has already cashed three times at the 2010 World Series of Poker and even made a deep run in event no. 33, finishing in 12th place, but this is his first final table of the summer. Here is a look at the chip counts and seating assignments as the players entered the final table. Seat 1 — Chad Brown — 634,000 Seat 2 — David Baker — 406,000 Seat 3 — Phil Ivey — 685,000 Seat 4 — Bill Chen — 715,000 Seat 5 — Albert Hahn — 345,000 Seat 6 — Ken Aldridge — 470,000 Seat 7 — Ryan Hughes — 380,000 Seat 8 — John Juanda — 585,000 Seat 9 — Jeffrey Lisandro — 50,000 Card Player is providing level-by-level updates from this final table which you can view by visiting the tournament tab on the homepage.
