He’s back. At least for the time being, poker’s high-stakes mystery player “Isildur1” is back in the mix at the $200-$400 games on Full Tilt after returning Monday night to battle against the likes of Isaac “luvtheWNBA” Haxton (pictured right) and Justin “ZeeJustin” Bonomo . It looked like a bad decision on the part of the Swedish pro, as he quickly saw himself down $90,000 against Haxton. The two played cap pot-limit Omaha over eight tables before Haxton decided to call it a night. Isildur1 then shifted his focus over to Bonomo and no-limit hold’em, where he was more than happy with a profitable $568,000 session. Though he played well, Isildur definitely had luck on his side against Bonomo. During the session, Isildur1 caught a two-outer for a $107,000 pot, turned a straight against Bonomo’s flopped two pair for a $114,000 pot, and rivered a full house against Bonomo’s straight for another $94,000 pot. The biggest pot of the session was also a bit of a cooler. Bonomo raised to $1,200 on the button, and Isildur1 reraised to $4,800 from the big blind. Bonomo called, and the flop came down K Q 6 . Isildur led for $6,400, and Bonomo raised to $15,600. Isildur1 called and checked the 8 on the turn. Bonomo bet $20,000, and Isildur1 check-raised all in for Bonomo’s last $44,991. Bonomo called, tabling Q 6 for two pair, but Isildur1 revealed K K for top set and had his opponent drawing dead. The meaningless river card was the J , sending the $171,000 pot to the Swede. The two quit shortly afterward when it was revealed that Bonomo’s backer had dropped out of the contest. You can read the chat log below. ZeeJustin: friend that had a piece backed out, i have to go down to 1/2 if you want too keep playing =( Isildur1: ok =( sry i am to tired for that =( ZeeJustin: up to you ZeeJustin: ok, gg, gn Isidlur1: gg Bonomo (pictured left) continued to play and recouped some of his losses, but still ended up about $490,000 down overall. Thanks to his success at other tables, Isildur1 wound up banking over $730,000 in just over 5,800 hands. Card Player readers are eligible for a deposit bonus of up to $600 on Full Tilt Poker .
