The $2 million-guaranteed Borgata Winter Open no-limit hold’em championship is currently in progress at the Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The tournament has attracted a large field of 766 players, and 135 were still in the tournament when day 2 began. The total prize pool for the event is $2,527,800, and the first-place finisher will take home $625,006. The top 72 players will all walk away with at least $6,130. The current chip leader in the championship event is Jeff Madsen (pictured right) with 940,000.
