The Aussie Millions $10,000 AUD pot-limit Omaha event has come to a close and the champion is Erik Seidel (pictured left) . He took home the top prize worth $120,000 and he captured the 22nd tournament win of his poker career in the process. Seidel defeated a tough field of 26 players to take home the victory and he faced down both Florian Langmann and Mike Watson on the final day of play. Day 1 of the tournament saw the field play down from the initial 26 players to the final four before play was stopped due to the late hour of the night. Notable eliminations that fell during the long day included Chris Ferguson, Jeffrey Lisandro, Tony Bloom, Jamie Pickering, and Ross Boatman. Rafi Amit busted out in fifth place on day 1 and he took home $15,000 as the first player to cash in the event. Here is a look at the chip stacks when the final day began: Michael Guttman — 172,100 Mike Watson — 166,500 Erik Seidel — 130,900 Florian Langmann — 51,200 There was a tight period of play to start the final day of the event, but things got moving when Langmann raised to 7,500 preflop from the cutoff and Seidel made the call. Michael Guttmann also made the call and the flop was dealt K J 5 . Guttmann checked, Langmann bet 16,000, and Seidel raised to 66,000. Guttmann mucked and Langmann reraised all in. Seidel made the call and they revealed their cards: Seidel: A Q 10 2 Langmann: K Q J 7 Turn and River: 4 and 5 Seidel won the hand with an ace-high spade flush and Langmann was eliminated from the tournament in fourth place ($25,000. Seidel grew his stack to 340,000. An hour later Mike Watson moved all in on a flop of 9 8 4 and Guttmann made the call. Their cards: Watson: K 9 8 7 Guttmann: 9 8 7 6 Turn and River: Q and K Guttmann hit his flush and Watson was eliminated in third place ($35,000). That elimination gave Guttmann 200,000 to take into the final battle against Seidel, who held 310,000. Seidel knocked out one of Guttmann’s legs early to take a 4-1 chip advantage in the match, but Guttmann fought back and grabbed the lead for himself at one point. Guttmann grabbed a pot worth 115,000 by betting 60,000 on the river of a board that was showing A A K 9 3 . Seidel mucked and his stack dropped down to 215,000. Guttmann held the advantage with 300,000, but his fortunes were about to change. Seidel won a series of small pots to grow his stack back to 300,000 and continue the tug-of-war between the two players before he struck the final blow. On the final hand, Seidel raised to 14,000 preflop and Guttmann made the call. The flop was dealt 7 6 3 and both players checked. The turn fell 9 and Guttmann bet 20,000. Seidel raised to 88,000 and Guttmann made the call. The river brought the 8 and Guttmann checked. Seidel bet enough to put his opponent all in and Guttmann made the call. Seidel showed down 10 8 7 5 and Guttmann flipped over A Q 9 3 . Seidel made a straight to win the tournament and Guttmann was eliminated in second place ($65,000). Seidel won the tournament for $120,000 and he is now very close to $10 million in career tournament winnings. Final Results: Erik Seidel — $120,000 Mick Guttmann — $65,000 Mike Watson — $35,000 Florian Langmann — $25,000 Rafi Amit — $15,000
