A 22-year-old Russian professional poker player called “innerpsy” set himself a challenge of playing 40,000 hands without stopping in a 24-hour period, and that is what he did, and then some.The challenge was hosted on PokerStars.com by the Russian forum Card Game Masters and nearly 10,000 enthusiasts tuned in to see if he could do it via two video streams and a live radio broadcast.The Russian said, “Before this challenge, I had never actually played more than 20,000 hands in a day before, but the idea came up and I just figured I could do it.
