He made his first World Poker Tour final table at the Doyle Brunson Classic Championship and won the event to take home $1,428,430 in prize money and 1,980 points to finish the year in sixth place with 4,142 points total. His other large POY score in 2009 came when he added a second World Series of Poker gold bracelet to his collection in June. He won the $10,000 Omaha eight-or-better world championship to take home $445,898 and 1,080 points.Faraz Jaka also joined the top 10 this week, thanks to his third-place finish at the WPT Doyle Brunson Classic Championship . The 1,320 points he added gave him 3,950 points total, which is good for eighth place in 2009.
