Date JULY 27 2022
The fourth annual Caesars Palace Classic will hold its $1,000 no-limit hold’em main event inside the Caesars Palace poker room starting Tuesday at noon, and there will be plenty of chips for creative play. Players will have 40,000 starting chips, with a $10 staff bonus adding an additional 10,000 chips. Blinds start at 25-50. Levels will last for 60 minutes, with a 15-minute break after every two levels. After ten levels of play on Day 1, remaining players will return for Day 2 action at noon on Wednesday and play until a final table of ten players is set or ten levels are played, whichever comes first. Day 3 will begin Thursday at 2 p.m. and play down to a winner. Levels will last for 90 minutes at the final table. The 80-minute dinner breaks will follow level 6 on day 1 and level 16 on day 2. The time of the final table dinner break will be determined later. Last year’s main event was a $5,000 buy-in event, which was won by Isaac Baron for $246,928. This championship tournament is event No. 26 on a schedule of 34 events. The series will conclude with the $1,000 Poker Hall of Fame Open on November 7.
