Even with the EPT Berlin championship coming to a close, there will be no shortage of big buy-in main events to keep an eye on this weekend, as three other main events are set to kick off, representing the WPT , NAPT and WSOP Circuit . WPT Hollywood Poker Open The $10,000 WPT Hollywood Poker Open main event will take to the tables at the Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. This marks only the second time the WPT has payed a visit to the Midwest venue. Last year’s event attracted 143 players, including many of the game’s most successful tournament players. The total prize pool was $1,331,616, and the top prize of $393,820 was won by Carlos Mortensen . The win gave Mortensen his third WPT title, tying him with Gus Hansen for the most WPT victories ever. Day 1 begins at 1 p.m. tomorrow, and players will start with 30,000 in tournament chips. Blinds will start at 50-100, and levels will run for 90 minutes. The televised final table play out on Wednesday, April 13. NAPT Mohegan Sun The $5,000 PokerStars NAPT Mohegan Sun main event is also scheduled to kick off tomorrow at noon and continue through Wednesday, April 13. A year ago, Vanessa Selbst was one of 716 players who entered the championship event in Uncasville, Connecticut, creating a prize pool of $3,264,244. She went on to top a tough final table and earn the top prize of $750,000. Players will start with 30,000 in tournament chips, and levels will last for 60 minutes through the first day. Blinds start off at 50-100. The final table will wrap up the event on April 13, but another notable event will surround that day. A $10,000 high roller bounty shootout will be recorded for broadcast on ESPN 2. Flight A will begin at 11 a.m. and flight B will start at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12. The televised final table will play out on Thursday, April 14. This year’s high roller shootout buy-in is down to $10,000, whereas last year it was at $25,000. There were 35 entrants in 2010, creating a prize pool of $875,000. When it was all said and done, an all-star final table was won by Jason Mercier for $450,000 (7 bounties). WSOP Circuit – Harrah’s St. Louis The $1,600 WSOP Circuit main event will get under way at Harrah’s St. Louis, starting at noon on Sunday. Last years championship event featured a larger $5,000 buy-in and drew 129 entrants. The prize pool of $625,650 yielded a top prize of $170,814 to the winner, Jeffrey Roper . With a lighter buy-in in 2011, the Maryland Heights, Missouri venue is expecting a solid turnout. Players will start with 15,000 in tournament chips. Blinds will begin at 25-50 with levels lasting 40 minutes. The 3-day event will finish up on Tuesday, April 12, and the winner will earn prize money and the circuit championship ring, along with automatic entry into the $1 million National Championship in May, 2011.
