There were 269 players who entered the $1,500 no-limit hold’em main event at the World Series of Poker Circuit stop at the Harrah’s in Chester, Pennsylvania. From those starters there were a few notables who survived to the final table on Tuesday, May 10 and they were Ari Engel, Kenny Nguyen, and Robert Hwang . In the end it was Nguyen who topped the field to take home a gold ring, $94,901, and a seat in the upcoming WSOP Circuit National Championship that will take place later this month at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Read on below to see how he captured the tournament title. Here is a look at the chip counts when the final table began: Seat 1: Huy Nguyen — 429,000 Seat 2: Robert Hwang — 274,000 Seat 3: Ed Cotter — 686,000 Seat 4: Ryan Waddell — 321,000 Seat 5: Sean Knitter — 226,000 Seat 6: Ari Engel — 411,000 Seat 7: Ramana Epparla — 1,950,000 Seat 8: Kenny Nguyen — 622,000 Seat 9: Robert Scott — 467,000 The first player to fall, in ninth place ($8,685), was Huy Nguyen when his pocket fours ran into the pocket kings of Ed Cotter. Robert Hwang was the next player to exit in seventh place ($13,790) when his A-5 was dominated by the pocket aces of Robert Scott. Ed Cotter advanced to sixth place but no further. He took home $17,799 in prize money after his J-9 was unable to come from behind to beat the pocket aces of Epparla. Sean Knitter was the next victim when he moved all in with Q-10 in the hole on a J-10-8 flop. Scott had him covered with A-6 in the hole and he was bailed out by aces on both the turn and river. Knitter took home $23,358 in fifth place. Then close to an hour transpired before the biggest name left in the tournament busted in fourth place and took home $31,179. Ari Engel moved all in preflop with A-K and Kenny Nguyen made the call with 8-6, which made a straight on a Q-J-9-7-5 board.
